So hmm, am I the last person to hear about Lushpad, an online buy & sell marketplace for modernists? I recently crossed paths with this fantastic site via Twitter (@Lushpad). It is an excellent concept to match up buyers and sellers across North America with plans to expand these boundaries in the future. Launched in August 2008, Lushpad will continue to grow its user resources including information on collecting know-how and furniture care; designer, artist and architect profiles; plus book reviews and more. They also have a great community blog jam-packed with interesting designerly content.
I enjoyed perusing the marketplace site and picking out some favorites among their current listings as seen below. Yes, you can readily tell I have a chair obsession. I’m not the only one you know.
