These are so cool.
My heart pitter-patted a bit when I saw this, as I have been searching for a few years for the posters my friend and I bought in the 60s, on our first trip to the city (Des Moines)–we rode the escalator — my first–up to the bookstore at Younkers. They actually had bookstores within department stores. And we chicly bought travel posters, mine was Holland and hers was Finland. I can remember every detail about both of them, and these are very close.
Great find!
Love your blog as usual.

Oh wow Kitty, I love that story… of course was hoping to hear you still had your Holland poster in your possession as it could easily be worth a mint. Regardless, a great story… thanks so much for sharing this! :)
