Austin City Limits.

Architect Eric Wittman has brilliantly captured just a few of the many reasons I think Austin is so swell. He hails from Wichita, Kansas and makes it a habit of attending the now infamous ACL Music Festival each year. Make the jump to see an additional three ace photographs.

01. Hotel San José
Built in 1939, this former “ultramodern motor court”  has been transformed into “an urban, bungalow-style hotel.” See more lush photographs on their terrific website. (Psst, the site credits are worth looking at… website: Coloring Book Studio | photography: Allison V. Smith)

02. Hipster Trash

03. Retro Toys
Inside one of my favorite establishments: Uncommon Objects… “your eccentric uncle’s attic on steroids.”

04. Continental Club

05. Side Step
Stairs that lead to the rooms at Hotel San José

06. Good Morning
