01. Japanese Anemone – 2 Colour Reduction Print
Last week’s mail brought me this super magnificent lino-block limited edition print created by my friend and printmaker Jeffrey Macklin (aka Jackson Creek Press) in Ontario. The stylized design, patterning and vivid colors really leap off the sheet. It looks gorgeous framed, eh?

Above is a great glimpse of Jeff’s printmaking studio where the printerly magic happens. Specifically, you are looking at one of his hand carved woodblocks in progress plus his Ben Franklin Gordon Platen Press (circa 1890) and his FAG Standard TP550 proofing press.

03. Service Berry – 2 Colour Block Print
04. Hosta – 2 Colour Block Print
Lastly, a pair of Jeff’s beautifully bold and stylized two color hand carved woodblock designs.
