Talented London based illustrator Alex Mathers has just kicked off a second site this month called the Red Lemon Club. You may know Alex from his ace contemporary illustration blog Ape on the Moon. His newest piece of real estate is dedicated to offering up great advice for online promotion methods for creatives… artists, illustrators, designers, musicians, writers plus really anyone/everyone else looking for a resource of tips for gaining greater exposure on the web. Topics to date include: why you need the internet to promote ‘brand you’; key ingredients to powerful self-promotion; why you need to embrace social media; and using blog commenting to promote yourself. Alex is rightfully beginning with the fundamentals and I look forward to seeing how he develops this arsenal over time.
