Above and below are stunning New York City Bergdorf-Goodman window displays captured by Rebecca Gagnon (aka CakeWalk). The theme here is obviously Fantastic Mr. Fox (2009 stop-motion animation film based on the children’s book by Roald Dahl). You will definitely want to see the entirety of Rebecca’s NYC collection on flickr.

And last but not least, more eye candy in the form of a lovely detail of Rebecca’s inspiration wall.

I wanted to give you the name of the artist on the art card: it’s Janos Schaab. I saw the orignal works at the Hubert Gallery (http://www.hubertgallery.com/ARTISTS%20PAGES/SCHAAB.html). The longer I looked at them, the more I could read into the facial expressions.
The same gallery also had amazing works by Paul Chonowski which you can click on from the menu on the right of their webpage. He made pictures using a blowtorch – so that the final effect was luminous. It actually appeared that the pictures were three dimentional and lit from within. “Fire Paintings”. Wow!
Love it! And thanks to Rebecca, I found your site! Time to gawk around at more great design.
Splendid, Rebecca… thanks for the additional info, will check it!
And thank you, lo… another foodie I see :~)
