This wonderfully spare, black and white fine art print by London based artist Toby Porter (aka The Mashed) has caught my eye. The simplicity of the composition is so beautiful, as is the lighting. Nothing overdone or overworked, it just exudes a gentle dignity. This photograph is printed on high end German fine art paper and it is available for purchase here at Toby’s website (where you can see all his terrific works including both mixed media and photography in much larger format). Toby presents an unusual gaze on some uncommon subjects. Some don’t grab hold immediately. Takes a bit to explore which is good. I really like the striped cows!
