Above are selections from my personal record album collection including two albums I inherited from my mother plus two recent finds at the thrift. Take note of the heavy hitting designer names attached to these beauties and follow the links to learn more about these mid-century greats. For example, Italian designer George Giusti who is well known in Europe and America for his architecture and sculpture, in addition to his graphics. And S. Neil Fujita who designed iconic graphics such as the Godfather logo and the book jacket for In Cold Blood. I will be featuring more work from these incredible creatives in coming weeks.

Great find! Some of these older covers are not to be overlooked; in particular, this one with art by George Giusti. A thrift, imagine that!

I have the discotheque album. I bought it years ago because I liked the cover, but I found that actually like the music, too.
