Happy Memorial Day to my fellow Americans!
Many have lost their lives over the decades. A fact unchanged by any of our political positions or the muddiness and utter incomprehensibility of war. It is important to acknowledge these men and women and their loved ones. So today I would like to express my deep gratitude for those who served and payed the ultimate price for our freedoms. And to others who served and returned like my own father and uncles (WWII), plus those currently serving and for the significant sacrifices made by their families as well.
