Above are three striking ambigrams plus one additional sample of handsome lettering all designed and drawn by Kashyap Kmbc in India. You are witnessing his self-taught musings—a passion for type-based drawing born out of the necessity to stay alert during training sessions for a new job. (And you may have already heard that doodling makes you smarter, word.)
Kashyap tells me his obsession with symmetrical type drawings began after another job change, hence his ambigrams. The ambigrams are names of his friends with at least two more to be completed. He continues to teach himself Photoshop and Illustrator and take remarkable photographs in his after hours as an assistant manager at State Bank of India.
An ambigram is a typographical design or artform that may be read as one or more words not only in its form as presented, but also from another viewpoint, direction, or orientation. The words readable in the other viewpoint, direction or orientation may be the same or different from the original words. Douglas R. Hofstadter describes an ambigram as a “calligraphic design that manages to squeeze two different readings into the selfsame set of curves.”
I really look forward to watching the progression of Kashyap’s work. See more of his drawing and photography on flickr.

There is variation in each of your ambigrams, and not just because of the names!
Remarkable work!
Keep it going. All the very best on your future endeavors.
