Classy mid-century fashion captured through gorgeous black and white photography is to be admired, particularly via the lens of legendary LIFE magazine photographer Gordon Parks. All but one of these eye-catching images originated with him. The exquisite evening gown photograph was shot by another terrific talent on staff with LIFE for a number of years, Nat Farbman.
