Self Promotion for Creatives – New E-book by Alex Mathers.

Our friend Alex Mathers has just launched his new marketing e-book and it is a choice one. I was honored Alex asked me to review this terrific piece last month when the ink was still wet. I can’t emphasize enough how practical, well written and content driven this book is—choc full of straight up information, tips, strategies and resources. Alex has brilliantly authored a thorough and pragmatic how-to field manual for any creative professional with an earnest desire to learn proactive, successful online self-promotion methods. Brimming with information about solid marketing techniques and practices, including various online tools and services (many of which are free or at a minimal cost), this book spans the needs of both the neophyte and those more seasoned in creating an online presence and network.

“10 Steps” begins with the nuts and bolts of online branding and promotion and builds from there. And it builds quite high—over 200 pages of clear and concise, sans fluff content trailed by almost 8 full pages of resources! It is quite impressive. My only regret is not having this superb guide sooner (seriously folks).
