Swiss graphic designer Max Huber (1919-1992) had an energetic and vibrant style, which utilized color, photography and typographic elements. I was delighted to discover a 1950s article in German graphic design magazine Gebrauchsgraphik about Mr. Huber, then in the early stages of his career. Accompanying the article are full-color ads for Borsalino hats, posters for Italian supermarket chain la Rinascente and covers of the magazine Imaballaggio.
Max Huber is remembered as one of the most influential and important voices in 20th century graphic design. Below I have listed 2 substantive Huber resources including an in-depth article about him at Icongraphics as well as a link to the Huber design museum in Switzerland, established in 2005 by his wife, Aoi Huber-Kono.
