This book cover design by Studio Atelier features super clever handmade type composed of a kajillion pencils and steady patience. I’d say the result is wonderfully dimensional and uncommon. The cover project was completed for Soliloquies Anthology, “the literary journal of Concordia University, which comes out every semester and features short fiction and poetry from writers all across Canada.” Visit the name link to see more of their terrific design portfolio.
Studio Atelier is a multidisciplinary design studio which utilizes hand-made materials and tactile solutions for a variety of design projects.
With clients primarily invested in the cultural sector, we take on a variety of projects including exhibition design, stage setting, web development, installations and printed matter. While a good number of our projects are very graphic, they are always dealt with in a hand-made manner, often making use of found objects, furniture, and newly developed sculptures.
