Richly hued and beautifully organic contemporary copper enamelware by Chicago artist Mary Laskey is love at first sight. Her designs are mid-century modern inspired, fresh, and classic. You can see much more of her enameled art dishes and bowls here and here.
In Mary’s shop she is currently selling only jewelry. Hopefully additional enameled goods will be available for purchase online at a later date. Otherwise, you will need to catch her at one of her shows.

Love this work….I don’t know why more Artists/Craftspeople don’t use this wonderful medium.
A very good question. I asked my metalsmith artist husband and he’s not sure either. I see largely vintage pieces out there but not so much contemporary work, especially anything close to Mary’s in size or beauty.
