Informed by geometry and architecture, contemporary art jeweler and metalsmith Erato Kouloubi in Greece creates bold and unique statement pieces of gold, platinum, bronze, and silver. I am really smitten with these super clean-lined works; they are equal parts structural, dimensional, and active.
Erato recently exhibited her work at Joya Barcelona (Contemporary Jewellery Fair) in October and at The Arch Window in London in July. Currently, you can find Erato’s jewelry at my Precious (Greek Jewellery Art + Design) and other galleries, museums, and shops in Greece.
erato graduated from Mokume and specialised in chemical coloring and patination of metals in Camberwell College of Arts, manipulating glass in St.Martins College and worked with the jewellery designer Yen Duong in Cockpit Arts Center, London.
