Displaced Londoner Kate Banazi is a Sydney based illustrator and silkscreen artist. Featured above is a selection of her ace screen print collage work. As you can see, these works are visually arresting being chock full of historic photography and engravings and brilliantly blended with mind-bending patterns. Kate’s fantastic designs provide strategic real estate for the eye to rest before journeying on to the next exciting element. Stay tuned, as in coming weeks I will be interviewing Kate and featuring more of her work. Just like her imagery, she is equally engaging and long on persona so prepare yourself for a really delightful look/read.

A great feast for the eyes! Really enjoyed the breath of work on Kate’s website.
I really like her work! Looking forward to the interview.
Thank you J and Laura for your kind comments and especially Amy, for thinking I may be more interesting than I am…. I’m reading the dictionary in prep so I can use really long words.
