Ray Garrod in Australia is the proprietor of Retro Graphica, a terrific site dedicated to found vintage and retro typography, illustration and printmaking. Recently, Ray purchased a hefty collection of 300 mid-century record albums at an auction, many classical gems. Slowly but steadily he is working to catalog a lovely selection of the most exciting covers and post them on his blog + flickr. I have highlighted a few of my own favorites here and appreciate Ray allowing me to do so. Follow his blog and flickr links to see much more now and in the future.
Ray formerly worked as an art and design teacher. Now in addition to Retro Graphica, he owns and operates his main site Retro Pottery Net, a wonderful pottery-centric blog where you will find a host of information on mid-20th century ceramics and ceramicists for admirers, students and collectors alike. His corresponding shop features vintage Danish, British and Australian ceramics for purchase.
