This past week I got lost again in the wonderful online vortex of Poster Cabaret, a well known site offering an extensive and striking collection of screen print posters and art prints by artists from around the globe. The site includes over 2,000 different posters and prints from over 75 artists.
Lad of Poster Cabaret has been purveying remarkable work by talented creatives for several years now. Inspired by his love of music and his tandem affinity for late 90s gig poster art, he began selling underground gig posters in 2002. Poster Cabaret since grew to include the top artists of the underground poster and print scene. The site expanded beyond gig posters in more recent years to include art prints for purchase as well. Additionally, Lad launched a companion website under the moniker Sebastian Foster; it is the online presence of his Austin based gallery. Sebastian Foster features contemporary studio art from both emerging and established artists including original works and archival print editions. I encourage you to pay both these sites an extended visit.
