Obviously here on AQ-V we love the retro but the fresh and contemporary grab our attention as well. Speaking of which, award-winning creative Jonathan Gurvit in Buenos Aires, Argentina recently sent me a link to his latest work and well, he has done it again. (Check out my previous post here. ) This time he has directed a series of dynamic new advertising film spots for the French automobile Citroën DS3 as part of Citroën’s ongoing “Anti Retro” campaign. In Jonathan’s world, retro technology meets a surreal violent end; it is crushed, pierced, shattered and melted in dramatic cinematic fashion playing right into our strange human fascination watching things being destroyed. A great deal of high end production work went into these spots. Hats off to the team at Primo Buenos Aires, where Jonathan now works as a director.
