The images above and below highlight a pair of beautifully tactile and conceptual type installations created for the The Other Bookstore in Malaysia. The award-winning project is a collaboration between Erman Basiron and Sin Lin.
“The Other Bookstore” specialises in some of the widest range of books on Arts and Craft. This installation art piece is handcrafted, not only as a shelf-talker, but also to bring to life the essence of the books on offer.
Execution: Multi-coloured threads are artistically woven to form the word “Fashion”, one of the book sections in the store. (Additionally) multi-coloured pencils are cut and hung in precision to form the word “Design”, one of the book sections in the store.

For those who follow AQ-V regularly, you probably noticed I have been away and a little dust has settled around here. My apologies as I have had to take an unexpectedly long amount of time off.
